Dear Conservative Party Voter,

I want to thank you for being a member of the Conservative Party of New York State. At a time when leftist legislators are running amok, it is more important than ever that our party serve as a persuasive voice of reason to all who will hear it. It is imperative that we proclaim an alternative path for New York and the nation than the Democratic Socialism Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) is peddling.

Elections have consequences. Every race matters.

Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) restricted your Second Amendment Rights and is offering parole to dangerous predators. Since Democrats have taken control of the State Senate, we have seen policies like late-term abortion on demand, socialized medicine, driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants and legalizing prostitution as priorities for Albany Democrats.

Let me say it again. Elections have consequences and every race matters.

As I write these words, I am preparing to watch President Donald J. Trump officially kick off the campaign for his second term. I will be enthusiastically supporting a second term for President Trump, because he has fulfilled the campaign promise and number one reason why I voted for him in 2016—appointing constitutional originalists to the federal courts.

We can’t leave it all up to the President, though. Justices serving on the Highest Court first served in the lower courts. Elections have consequences and judicial races matter. This is why our party is supporting Jennifer Noto and Kevin Van Allen in the Tuesday, June 25, 2019, Conservative Primary Election.

On February 16, 2019, the Livingston County Conservative Party interviewed candidates seeking the Party’s endorsement in this year’s election. Livingston County’s two county judicial seats were the marquis event of the evening. After two hours of interviews and vigorous discussion, the Conservative Party coalesced around Jennifer Noto and Kevin Van Allen. Ms. Noto’s lengthy and varied legal experience, as well as her temperament, will suit her well as a County Judge. Mr. Van Allen also came clearly prepared for the interview. His comfort and expertise discussing complicated legal matters affecting the family and parental rights were noted by Conservative Party members.

There were other candidates that also sought our endorsement, but our committee did not find them worthy of receiving the Conservative Party endorsement. Margaret Linsner is a long-time Democrat. After interviewing Ms. Linsner we determined that if she did not support her Democratic Party’s values that there had been ample opportunity for her to leave the party, but Linsner has refused to do so. Then, she went out and also received the endorsement of the Working Families Party—which is New York’s “progressive” political party. What do they see in this candidate for county judge?

Many of the same people that gathered petitions for Ms. Linsner and are actively supporting her campaign are attending local rallies calling for the impeachment of our President and demanding late-term abortion extremism. They actively fought the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. What do they see in Ms. Linsner that so excites them? Elections have consequences and every race matters—even judicial ones.

Another candidate, Jeannie Michalski, simply refused to be interviewed by our committee, but now wants our support in the Primary and General Elections after being denied the Democratic and Republican nominations.

I hope you will help us elect people we can trust to county court. Conservatives are supporting Jennifer Noto and Kevin Van Allen in the Tuesday, June 25, 2019 Conservative Primary Election. Polls will be open from Noon until 9:00 PM. Please vote Noto and Van Allen on that day.

Remember—elections have consequences and every race matters.

Sincerely,

Jason J. McGuire

Chairman, Livingston County Conservative Party
